Little Stinker and Frankie the Fart

I had a great time illustrating Frankie the Fart Wants A Friend, written by Daniel Huerga, who encouraged me draw in the exact style I’ve always hoped to use in a children’s book.

I’m really happy with how the book turned out, and it’s been great to see all the positive reviews on Amazon (where it’s currently a Kindle best seller!)

And for those keeping score at home: yes, this is the 2nd book about farts I’ve illustrated.

I’ll be tabling at the OC Zine Fest on September 7th! These fests never fail to inspire me, and I’m excited to check out everyone else’s work.

I’m also pretty sure I’ll be able to finish Sorry Thank You Vol. 3 in time for this to be it’s premiere date! Vol. 3 has taken a bit longer to complete (although I did put out plenty of other smaller zines last year) but I’m pumped to share it real soon.

COMING SOON!!!

Here’s a kid’s game I did a bunch of illustration and design work for, in collaboration with the wildly talented Chuck BB. I’m biased, but I think it came out real dang cute.

Total coincidence that this newsletter features a Stinker and a Fart, I promise.

The above image was floating around in my sketchbook, begging for the right caption. Finally my wife pitched the “anytime, anywhere” text, and honestly? I love it, pardner.
