“We chose the last weekend in October in order to be the first of the Christmas Craft Fairs in the area,” said Glennda Olivier, event organizer. “More than 30 vendors will be displaying their goods. The group includes about 15 new vendors along with those who have participated many times in the past. Beeswax candles, knitting, sewing, woodworking, jewellery, glassworks and more will be available.”

Lunch and treats consisting of cookies, squares, chili, and other homemade delicacies will be available for sale from the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadain Legion branch 92 in Gananoque. There will be a $2 admission charge and funds raised support the Leeds and 1,000 Island Historical Society, sponsors of the event for the past 20 years.
