Education at a Glance 2024

Costa Rica, Mexico, Portugal and Türkiye saw the biggest declines, with at least 10 percentage points more 25-34 year-olds  attaining secondary education during that period. The share of 18-24 year-olds not in employment, education or training  fell from 16{996a0067a2ef9e05c4c765c3f2eddd6229568dd81b868c67202910a8b56ae36c} to 14{996a0067a2ef9e05c4c765c3f2eddd6229568dd81b868c67202910a8b56ae36c} between 2016 and 2023 on average across the OECD, with substantial declines in Italy, Mexico, Croatia and Poland.
